After the installation (3 days late) they asked me to come and collect my car at 8pm at night. When I arrived they told me that it was not finished and to come back in the morning. Finally I received my car back with the installation complete.

After driving the vehicle it became apparent that it would no longer run on petrol even though I had a duel fuel system installed.

When I approached Progas at Huntington they informed me that the issue was NOT because of their installation and that I must see a mechanic to have my car repaired.

I took my car to a specialist mechanic who dismantled and reassembled the engine ($930.00) only to find that the gas system installed is not suitable for my vehicle. Again I rang Progas at Huntingdale to have the installation completed properly. They have denied any responsibility.

I have paid $3800 for a LPG gas conversion that does not work on my car. I have paid $930 with a specialised mechanic to prove the problem lies with the gas system. When the gas is disconnected the car runs fine on petrol. When the gas system is connected the car will not run on petrol even though it is a duel fuel system. The manufacturers of the Prins system which Progas have installed have told me it is the correct system for my car.

I HAVE PAID $4,730.00 plus three trips to the mechanics including Progas who refuse to help. The manager at Progas is abusive and aggressive and refuses to help solve this problem. The product does not work!

It is now over 6 month since the installation. My car will not run on gas. I keep being told that my car is the problem. I have been ripped off by this company and I would like to warn others who may be thinking of using their services.

Do not use Progas LPG conversions in Huntingdale if you value your car. I am an extremely unhappy customer. Do not choose the PRINS gas system as it does not work on all vehicles and the manufactures are not aware and will not help.
